About Guided Focusing

Focusing

Is a mind-body awareness method that enables you to find greater ease and clarity by connecting more deeply to your own inner truths.  This increased awareness sparks a natural process that ends in greater freedom from outdated and constricting patterns.  It is a natural skill we are born knowing and continue to learn as infants but the world soon teaches us to forget. With an experienced guide, you can easily re-learn how to listen to your own inner wisdom. This awareness can then help to inform everything you do. 


Why Learn Focusing

 Focusing teaches a method to reconnect to one's innate inner wisdom- our personal GPS. By deeply listening and bringing presence to what is actually happening in the moment new possibilities often arise.  This space allows natural shifts and surprising new directions often emerge.  It effortlessly creates openings for greater creativity and healing. Focusing skills can help one to get deeper benefit from therapy.  Many people find that positive change happens with more ease, less effort, and is longer lasting. 



Transformational Coaching

For those clients ready to take a deeper dive into creating transformational change in their lives, a limited number of clients will be accepted into my Intensive Transformational Coaching program. Coaching programs include bimonthly sessions to work together on deeply listening to what most wants to emerge in your life and regular check ins to help guide your path as it unfolds.           Initial telephone call to explore the coaching work is complimentary.

  I offer a structured series of Focusing classes in 8 session increments. Classes are experiential, interactive, and experimental in nature to support deep exploration and learning. The approach is informed by current brain science and utilizes my decades of practice in experiential teaching and learning. Classes speak to and include both the left-brain's detail-oriented, logical, time bound mode while also providing an accessible pathway to the more playful, metaphorical, in-the-moment body-based right brain mode. Focusing is a powerful tool to integrate the two by coming into a place of curiosity, exploration, and presence with whatever arises in the here and now. New Class series begins January 28th.

Marki Webber RN. M.Ed.

Marki Webber is an educator and a nurse with a long-standing interest in integrative medicine. She  has supported people of all ages in the process of significant life transitions since 1984. In addition to her medical background and extensive work with trauma, mental health, and mindfulness, she has training as a transformational life coach and certification in holistic health coaching.  She loves supporting people of all ages to find their strongest and most satisfying path forward.
